What works
A market needs a clear, answerable question: something that will either happen or not happen by a specific date, with a result that can be confirmed from a real source. The AI handles a wide range: politics, sports, finance, crypto, reputation events, public decisions, personal milestones, and more. Sensitive or controversial topics are fine as long as they’re objectively resolvable. Events that haven’t happened yet and may or may not occur are fine too. That’s what makes them worth trading. Duplicate markets are allowed. If a question is already being traded on Worm or elsewhere, that’s not a reason to block it.What doesn’t
Direct harm or death of a named individual. This is a hard limit regardless of how the market is framed. Purely subjective outcomes. If there’s no objective result to check, no announcement, no result, no measurable event, the AI can’t resolve it and won’t create it. Events with no viable resolution path. If an outcome can’t be tied to a specific source by a specific deadline, the market can’t be made.Resolution sources
The AI picks a resolution source from:- A source you specify
- An authoritative public source (official sites, agencies, verified accounts)
- A designated public X account that will post verifiable proof
