Making Predictions

Predicting matches is the heart of WormCup. Every prediction earns tournament points, the score that ranks you on the leaderboard. The more accurate your call, the more you earn.

Making a pick

Open a match and enter your prediction:

• The exact score (for example, 2–1), or the winner or draw on matches that only ask for an outcome.
• The first goalscorer, by jersey number. This is required unless you’re predicting a 0–0 draw.

You can make one prediction per match, and a match locks at kickoff. After that, predictions can no longer be placed or changed.

After the match, your prediction earns tournament points based on how close it was:

Powering up your picks

You can multiply the tournament points a prediction earns by adding levels before kickoff.

• Each level costs 1,000 activity points.
• You can add up to 10 levels on a single prediction.
• Levels are applied once per pick, before the match locks.

The multiplier applies to whatever your prediction earns, even a wrong pick at the 200-point participation tier. For example, an exact-score prediction (1,000 base) with 3 levels applied earns 6,000 tournament points. Activity points are the “fuel” you spend here. You earn them from tapping, tasks, and invites. Earn points by trading

Trading on worm.wtf also earns tournament points, with no action needed inside the Mini App:

• 5,000 points for a trade on a standard market
• 10,000 points for a leveraged trade
